Onsen Hot Springs

The water is drawn directly from Yubatake. Out of numerous sources of hot springs in Kusatsu, Yubatake is known to produce onsen with the highest water quality. Enjoy and relax in our pure natural onsen. The onsen is open for 24 hours a day, and available for staying guests only.

This onsen is known to alleviates chronic skin problems, arterial sclerosis, cuts, burns, physical weakness in children, and chronic female troubles.

We advise guests with sensitive skin, sensitive mucous membrane, and photosensitivity refrain from using our onsen.

Our onsen facility is built with Japanese cypress. The high gridded windows and the thick wooden beams bring out the perfect onsen atmosphere.

Onsen Guidelines

  • No clothes - including undergarments and swimsuits - are allowed in the bath.
  • Use the shower to wash yourself thoroughly before getting into the bath.
  • Do not put towels in the bath.
  • Do not run or swim in the facility.
  • Do not take pictures and videos in the facility.
  • Do not use the onsen to wash your clothes.
  • Wipe yourself well before going back to the changing room from the onsen.
  • Caution: Do not eat food or drink alcohol right before/after taking a bath.
